December 2015 haul: Star Wars Ronin Boba Fett, 1:6 scale Luke Skywalker X-Wing Pilot & Phicen 1:6 super flexible seamless male body

I cannot believe the year is coming to an end. And what an end it will be with the new Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens arriving in theatres all over the world this coming week. Most people (especially adults) are probably more excited about Star Wars this year than Christmas LOL

So what did I get so far this December? It just so happens that two out of the three items I got are Star Wars related: one is the Bandai Star Wars Movie Realization 7-inch tall Ronin Kenzan Boba Fett action figure and the other is the Sideshow Collectibles "Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope" 1:6 scale Luke Skywalker Red Five X-Wing Pilot 12-inch figure. The last item on the list is the Phicen Limited 1:6 scale super flexible seamless male body and what an innovation this turned out to be!

Bandai Star Wars Movie Realization 7-inch tall Ronin Kenzan Boba Fett action figure is the third character to be added to Bandai’s expanding line of Japanese themed Star Wars Movie Realization action figure toys, after Darth Vader (preview pictures HERE) and the Stormtrooper (full action figure review posted on my toy blog HERE and HERE). You can check out the preview pictures HERE while waiting for the full action figure review to be posted :)

A peek inside the box and what you can expect.

The Phicen Limited 1:6 scale super flexible seamless male body comes in a very ordinary box packaging which belies what is lying in wait inside.

The Phicen 1:6 scale super flexible seamless male body does not come with a head sculpt but has an internal skeleton armature made from durable stainless steel to withstand playability without being easily damaged or corrupted. Each armature have 28 points of articulation, using ball-jointed system, for maximum flexibility and movement. The steel metal armature is wrapped with a non-toxic, environmentally friendly medical-grade material specially developed for Phicen bodies. The material is supposed to feature durable, anti-cracking qualities that are easy to clean, but not easy to stain or dye. In addition, the skin texture is designed to deliver a tactile experience of real skin. You can check out my earlier post HERE for preview pictures.

The instruction sheet (user manual) has some cautions plus do's and don'ts regarding the articulation of the seamless male body. Click on the pictures for a bigger and better view

Last but not least, here's the Sideshow Collectibles "Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope" 1:6 scale Luke Skywalker Red Five X-Wing Pilot 12-inch figure. I had pre-ordered this 12-inch figure before Hot Toys released pictures of their Luke Skywalker figure which I have also pre-ordered. No regrets since I always liked Luke in the Red Five X-Wing Pilot uniform / outfit. The fact that all the pictures posted on the box packaging are photos taken of the actual figure itself is a testament of how good and realistic the head sculpt is. Certainly looking forward to reviewing this figure on my toy blog. You can also see the preview pictures HERE while waiting for the review.
