Finally! But no word on any Diecast, and no bendy/posable hand like previous releases. Kinda bummed about that.

I'm actually glad that it's not die-cast because that means I don't have to pay that much more for something that Hot Toys is very good at doing - painting a figure to make it look like metal. Plus I believe that if it's die-cast, it will be top heavy and topple over more easily. Posable hands are nice and I like them too; it's just that they are not good for holding weapons because the flexibility of the joints compromise the rigidity of the grasp. This could be my first Hot Toys Endoskeleton :)

Yes, you may be right about the hands. I missed the first T-800 releases as they came out just before I started collecting and I surely wouldn't have agreed to pay what they were asking for it probably back then. I did however pick up a couple of their T-600s and a T-700 from their Terminator Salvation line. And your absolutely right about Hot Toys' second to none paint apps and right again about the bendy hands or fingers not doing the best job holding on to their respective weapons. But there's no denying A METAL Endoskelaton seems as good an idea as a Metal Ironman. Also fast forward 5 years since those pieces dropped and I think Hot Toys can solve any stability and grip issues... I believe in them. Thanks Alex!

I have the Aoshima die-cast T-800 Endoskeleton which is rather heavy due to its mostly die-cast metal parts and has lots of working pistons and joints. The figure comes with a stand that clamps onto the back of the figure to provide stability when standing due to the extremely top heavy body. The tiny legs and feet just cannot support the weight of the upper torso :( I posted pictures - http://toyhaven.blogspot.sg/2010/05/ht-t2-t-800-die-cast-t-800-endoskeleton.html
